A mild fruit acid, potassium bitartrate, obtained from grapes. It is a mild acid used in mixing henna and cassia for dye release. It creates ash and deeper brunette tones and due to its mild nature it does not dry or damages the hair.
It also helps in the binding of the dye to the hair resulting in better coverage and longer lasting results.
The recommended ratio is 1tsp (approx 6g) to every 100g henna or cassia powder mixed in warm water.
Sold in bags of 30g
