Our red henna powder has a lawsone content of 2.88% and is 100% pure henna, with no added dyes, metallic salts or PPD.

On hair, it gives bright copper on blond or grey hair, auburn on light to mid brown and a red glow on dark hair. Leave it on for 2 to 4 hours; the colour deepens over 2 to 3 days. It is permanent and cannot lighten hair, so do a strand test. For body art, the fine sift makes a smooth paste for cones; leave it on for 4 to 6 hours or overnight for a reddish-brown stain that develops over 24 to 48 hours. Red henna powder is available from 100g up to 5kg. See our guide on how to mix henna powder.
