Jagua Gel Pouches
Ready-made jagua gel in pouches. Easy to use and better value for larger quantities.
Jagua gel pouches
We make our jagua gel from the best jagua liquid and a thoroughly tested recipe. The pouches are heat-sealed and ideal for filling your own applicator bottles or cones. Freeze until needed.
We strain the gel through a fine cloth before packaging, so there is no need to strain it before fine work.
Jagua gel gives a natural blue-black stain that looks like a real tattoo. It is made from the fruit of the Genipa americana tree, with no PPD or so-called black henna.
Why buy jagua gel in pouches?
- Ready to use: no mixing, thickening or measuring.
- Your choice of applicator: fill cones for fine lines or bottles for bold work.
- Good value: the larger sizes suit busy artists and events.
How to use
- Thaw a pouch in the fridge or at room temperature.
- Snip a corner and squeeze the gel into your cones or applicator bottles.
- Apply to clean, dry skin with no lotion or oil.
Results
Leave jagua on the skin for about 1 to 2 hours, or until dry, then wash it off gently. The design looks faint at first, then darkens to blue-black over 48 to 72 hours and usually lasts one to two weeks. Do a small patch test first.
Storage
Keep jagua gel frozen until needed. Once thawed, keep it in the fridge and use within a few days. Avoid thawing and refreezing it repeatedly, as this weakens the stain.
