Ready-made jagua gel, no mixing needed

We make our gel from the best jagua liquid and a thoroughly tested recipe, then strain it through a fine cloth before packaging, so it flows smoothly for fine lines. Jagua comes from the fruit of the Genipa americana tree and gives a natural blue-black stain that looks like a real tattoo, with no PPD or so-called black henna.

Cones or pouches?

Jagua gel cones: ready to use in 10ml cones. Choose 3, 6, 9 or 12 cones (30ml to 120ml), so you only thaw what you need.
Jagua gel pouches: heat-sealed pouches from 30ml up to 1 litre, for filling your own cones or applicator bottles. The larger sizes suit busy artists and events.

How to use

Thaw a cone at room temperature and snip the very tip, or thaw a pouch, snip a corner and squeeze the gel into cones or a Luer lock applicator bottle. Apply to clean, dry skin with no lotion or oil.

Results

Leave jagua on the skin for about 1 to 2 hours, or until dry, then wash it off gently. The design looks faint at first, then darkens to blue-black over 48 to 72 hours and usually lasts one to two weeks, so apply it two to three days before an event. Do a small patch test first, and do not use jagua if you have a citrus or tropical fruit allergy.

Storage

Keep the gel frozen until needed. Once thawed, keep it in the fridge and use it within a few days. Avoid thawing and refreezing it repeatedly, as this weakens the stain.

Ingredients

Jagua liquid with a natural, skin-safe organic preservative, xanthan gum and lavender essential oil.
