The complete jagua powder mixing kit
Our jagua mixing kit is measured precisely to make a perfect jagua gel every time. Each kit makes about 2oz (60ml) of gel. Our jagua powder is 100% pure Genipa americana with an organic, skin-safe preservative.
Jagua gives a natural blue-black stain that looks like a real tattoo, with no PPD or so-called black henna. The kit is the easiest way to try mixing your own gel.

You will also need
- Non-metallic mixing bowl
- Spatula
- Water
- A blender (recommended) or hand whisk
- A stocking or pop sock to strain the gel for a smoother finish
How to use your jagua mixing kit
- Mix the premix powder with water and the lavender essential oil, following the instructions in the kit.
- Blend or whisk until smooth, then strain the gel through the stocking.
- Spoon the gel into the piping bag and use it to fill the cones.
- Wearing the gloves, apply the gel to clean, dry skin with no lotion or oil.
Results
Leave jagua on the skin for about 1 to 2 hours, or until dry, then wash it off gently. The design looks faint at first, then darkens to blue-black over 48 to 72 hours and usually lasts one to two weeks. Do a small patch test first.

Storage
