Our amla hair oil is a traditional Ayurvedic hair oil: 65% organic sesame oil, 15% amla extract, 15% organic almond oil and 5% shikakai extract. Warm a little in your palms, massage it into the scalp and through the lengths, and leave for at least an hour or overnight before washing out. It comes in 100ml, 250ml and 500ml.

Oil stops henna binding to the hair, so wash any Ayurvedic hair oil out thoroughly before colouring, and wait a couple of days after henna before oiling again. It contains almond oil, so do a patch test first if you have a nut allergy. For powder washes, see hair conditioners and aftercare.
