Freshly mixed bulk henna paste

Skip the sifting, mixing and waiting for dye release. We mix each order fresh with body art quality henna and skin-safe essential oil, then strain it through a fine cloth before packaging, so it flows smoothly for fine lines with no straining needed.

Sizes

175g: made from 50g of henna powder.
350g: made from 100g.
700g: made from 200g.
1.4kg: made from 400g, for busy artists and festival season.

Choose your recipe

Henna: Indian Raj (stringy, for fine lines), Jamila (creamier, for swirls and rounded work), Sojat (slightly less stringy than Raj) or a Raj and Jamila blend.
Mixing liquid: lemon juice for dye release, or water if you have a citrus allergy.
Sugar: optional, to keep fast-drying paste on the skin for longer.
Essential oil: lavender is used if none is chosen. See our essential oils for henna.

If no options are chosen, we mix Indian Raj henna with lemon juice, sugar and lavender or cajeput oil. If in doubt, email us before ordering.

What else you need

Bulk henna paste comes without cones, so add empty henna cones, applicator bottles or a carrot bag for easy filling. Prefer cones filled for you? Try our pre mixed henna cones.

Delivery and storage

As a fresh product, we recommend Next Day delivery. Freeze the paste as soon as it arrives, then thaw what you need in the fridge or at room temperature. Apply to clean, dry skin and leave on for at least 4 to 6 hours, or overnight. The stain starts bright orange and deepens to reddish brown over 24 to 48 hours. For artists who get through a lot of paste, bulk henna paste is the best-value way to buy.
