Empty henna cones, rolled for you

Rolling your own cones takes practice and time. Our empty henna cones are rolled from cellophane for you, with a consistent, tight tip, so you can spend more time on your designs. They are sold individually, and we recommend ordering at least 10, as shipping costs the same.

Use them for

Henna paste: your own recipe, or our bulk henna paste.
Jagua gel: for blue-black jagua designs.
Body paint: face and body paint that flows like henna.

Carrot bags

A carrot bag is the cleanest way to store bulk henna paste or jagua gel and to fill cones or applicator bottles. Made from strong plastic, it lies flat in the fridge or freezer and can be folded over or heat sealed at the top. Our bulk paste comes in two sizes: 50g of henna powder makes about 175g of paste, and 100g makes about 350g, which helps you plan how many cones to fill.

How to fill empty henna cones

Spoon your strained paste into a carrot bag and snip a small corner.
Insert the bag into the open end of the cone and fill it about two-thirds full.
Fold the top over tightly and seal it with tape.
Snip the very tip when you are ready to use it.

Tips

Strain your paste first for the smoothest flow and fewer blockages. Filled cones can be frozen, so make a batch and thaw them as needed, labelling each one with the date and mix. For a colourful finish, add cellophane for henna cones, and for steady lines try an applicator bottle. Professional artists use empty henna cones to fill with their own signature paste, choosing the henna, oils and mixing liquid themselves.
