Wholesale jagua for artists and retailers

If you get through a lot of jagua, buying in bulk keeps your costs down. Our jagua powder is 100% pure Genipa americana with a natural organic preservative, and every product gives a natural blue-black stain with no PPD or so-called black henna.

100g jagua powder: raw powder, sold in 2 to 10 packs of 100g. Each 100g pack takes 30g of xanthan gum, 30ml of essential oil and 500ml of water to make gel.
100g jagua premix: xanthan gum already blended in, sold in 2 to 10 packs of 100g. For every 10g, just add 50ml of water and 3ml of essential oil.
Wholesale jagua gel: ready to use in heat-sealed pouches, strained through a fine cloth. Minimum order 2 x 16oz, shipped free of charge.

Powder or gel?

Powder keeps far longer than ready-made gel until you mix it, so it suits retailers and artists who want to stock up. Gel saves time, with no mixing, thickening or measuring, so it suits busy studios and festival work. Powder can also be added to henna to make hengua for a deep brown-black stain.

Results

Leave jagua on the skin for about 1 to 2 hours, or until dry, then wash it off gently. The design looks faint at first, then darkens to blue-black over 48 to 72 hours and usually lasts one to two weeks, so apply it two to three days before an event. Do a small patch test first, and do not use jagua if you have a citrus or tropical fruit allergy.

Storage

Keep unopened powder packs in a cool, dry, dark place, or in the freezer for long-term storage. Keep gel frozen until needed, and split large pouches into cones or bottles before freezing, as repeated thawing and refreezing weakens the stain. Want to try before buying wholesale jagua? Our retail jagua powder comes in smaller packs, and our guide shows how to make jagua gel.
