Jagua gel gives a natural blue-black stain that looks like a real tattoo. It is made from the fruit of the Genipa americana tree, with no PPD or so-called black henna.

How to use

1. Thaw a pouch in the fridge or at room temperature.
2. Snip a corner and squeeze the gel into your cones or applicator bottles.
3. Apply to clean, dry skin with no lotion or oil.

Results

Leave jagua on the skin for about 1 to 2 hours, or until dry, then wash it off gently. The design looks faint at first, then darkens to blue-black over 48 to 72 hours and usually lasts one to two weeks. Do a small patch test first.

Storage

Keep wholesale jagua gel frozen until needed. Once thawed, keep it in the fridge and use within a few days. Avoid thawing and refreezing it repeatedly, as this weakens the stain, so split large pouches into cones or bottles before freezing.

Choosing an applicator

Cones give the finest lines for detailed work, while applicator bottles with fine tips are quick to refill and suit bold designs and busy events. Many artists keep both ready.
