Our jagua gel cones are filled with freshly made jagua gel, ready to use in 10ml cones for blue-black body art. Freeze until needed. The gel is strained through a fine cloth before packaging, so it flows smoothly for fine lines.

Jagua comes from the fruit of the Genipa americana tree. It gives a natural blue-black stain that looks like a real tattoo, without PPD or so-called black henna.

How to use

1. Thaw a frozen cone at room temperature, then snip the very tip.
2. Apply to clean, dry skin with no lotion or oil.
3. Leave on for about 1 to 2 hours, or until dry, then wipe or wash it off gently.

Jagua works differently from henna. The design looks faint at first, then darkens to blue-black over 48 to 72 hours, and usually lasts one to two weeks. As with any skin product, do a small patch test first.

Storage

Keep jagua gel cones in the freezer until the day you need them. Once thawed, keep them in the fridge and use within a few days. Avoid thawing and refreezing the same cone repeatedly, as this weakens the stain.
