Cellophane for rolling henna cones

How to roll a henna cone

1. Cut the cellophane into rectangles or triangles, depending on the size of cone you want.
2. Roll it into a tight cone shape with a fine point at one end, and secure the seam with tape.
3. Fill the cone about two-thirds full with strained henna paste, using a carrot bag or freezer bag.
4. Fold the top over tightly and tape it closed.
5. Snip the very tip when you are ready to use it. A smaller cut gives a finer line.

Tips

• Practise rolling a few empty cones before filling them.
• Filled cones can be frozen, so roll and fill a batch at once.

• If you mix more than one paste recipe, mark each cone with a coloured tape or marker so you can tell them apart at a glance.
