Clear acrylic henna practice board

A clear acrylic henna practice board, approximately 30cm x 21cm. Place it over pre-drawn designs to copy them, or use it on its own.

When dry, henna scrapes and washes off. Supplied with a protective film, which should be removed before use.

Why use a henna practice board?

How to use it

1. Peel off the protective film.
2. Place a printed or hand-drawn design underneath, or work freehand.
3. Apply henna paste or jagua gel with a cone or applicator bottle.
4. Let it dry, then scrape off the paste and wash the board with warm, soapy water.

Practice ideas

• Repeat lines, dots, petals and swirls until your pressure is even.
• Build a library of motifs to combine into larger designs.
• Photograph finished designs on a white background for your portfolio.

Care

Clean with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive scourers and solvents, which can scratch the acrylic.
