Starter Henna Cone Kit
A henna cone kit with 2 fresh henna cones, perfect for trying henna for the first time.
Try henna without the fuss of mixing
Our henna cone kits skip the mixing: the cones are filled with fresh paste, ready to use. We strain every batch through a fine cloth before packaging, so the paste flows smoothly for fine lines.
This starter henna cone kit is the easiest way to try natural henna for the first time, practise your designs or decorate a pair of hands for a party.
What's in the kit
- 2 x 17g henna cones, freshly mixed with organic henna, lemon juice and lavender or cajeput essential oil*
*Essential oil subject to availability.
How to use your henna cone kit
- If the cones arrive frozen or you have frozen them, let them thaw at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- Snip the very tip of the cone. A smaller cut gives a finer line.
- Apply to clean, dry skin with no lotion or oil, squeezing gently from the top of the cone.
- Leave the paste on for at least 4 to 6 hours, or overnight for the darkest stain, then scrape it off.
The stain starts bright orange and deepens to a rich reddish brown over 24 to 48 hours. Hands and feet stain darkest.
Tips for beginners
- Practise on paper first to get used to the pressure needed.
- Keep a cotton bud handy to tidy any mistakes before the paste dries.
- Avoid water on the design for the first few hours.
Storage
Fresh henna paste loses strength at room temperature within a few days. Keep the cones in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for several months.

Because the henna cone kit contains fresh paste, we recommend choosing Next Day delivery so your cones arrive in the best condition.
