Henna sealant for a darker stain

Our henna sealant is specially formulated and comes in an easy-to-use spray mist bottle. Mist it over drying henna paste to keep it in contact with the skin for longer, producing a darker, deeper colour.

Our formula is allergen-free.

Why use henna sealant?

• Darker stain: keeps the paste moist and stuck to the skin for longer.
• Less flaking: stops dried paste cracking and falling off too early.
• Easy to apply: the fine mist will not disturb delicate designs.

How to use henna sealant

1. Apply your henna design and let the paste dry for a few minutes until it is no longer wet.
2. Hold the bottle at a distance and mist lightly over the design. Do not soak it.
3. Let it dry, then repeat a few times while the paste is on.
4. Leave the paste on for as long as possible, then scrape it off.

For the best results, combine henna sealant with our micropore tape: mist the design, let it dry, then wrap it to keep the paste in place overnight.

Tips

• Spraying too close or too heavily can make wet paste run and blur fine lines.
• Keep the design warm while the paste is on.
• Avoid water on the design for the first few hours after removing the paste.

Why lemon juice and sugar?

Lemon juice and sugar are the traditional way to seal henna. The sugar keeps the paste slightly tacky so it stays on the skin, while the fine spray means you only use a little, with none of the sticky mess of dabbing on a sugar solution with cotton wool.

Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool place.
