A henna kit with everything you need to cover a whole party.

With 200g of henna powder, two essential oils and 15 cones, this henna kit is ready for a mehndi night, an Eid or Diwali gathering, a hen party or a stall at a school fair.

What's in the kit

• 200g natural henna powder
• 15 henna applicator cones
• 10ml cajeput essential oil
• 10ml lavender essential oil
• Full instructions

You will also need

Lemon juice (not supplied).

How it works

1. Mix the henna powder with lemon juice and your choice of essential oil, following the instructions in the kit.
2. Cover the paste and leave it somewhere warm for dye release.
3. Strain the paste if you want very fine lines, then fill the cones.
4. Apply to clean, dry skin and leave the paste on for at least 4 to 6 hours, or overnight, then scrape it off.

The stain starts bright orange and deepens to a rich reddish brown over 24 to 48 hours. Hands and feet stain darkest.

Tips for a darker stain

• Mist the drying paste with henna sealant to keep it on the skin for longer.
• Keep the design warm while the paste is on.
• Scrape the dried paste off rather than washing it, and avoid water for the first few hours.

Why choose this henna kit?

Mixing your own paste for a party works out far cheaper than buying ready-made cones. Two oils let you choose: lavender for a gentle scent, or cajeput for a fresher one. All our henna is natural, with no PPD or chemical dyes.

Planning a henna party

• Mix the paste a day or so before, so it has time for dye release.
• Fill a few cones at a time and keep the rest of the paste cool.
• Simple, quick designs let you decorate more guests.

Storage

Freeze any mixed paste you will not use within a few days. Keep unused powder sealed in a cool, dark place, so your henna kit is ready for next time.
